Nala is my rabbit of nine years. On 2 June we rushed to the Santos Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $750. They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Nala is more than a pet - Nala is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $105 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Santos Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $750 goes: • Emergency surgery: $370 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $220 • Medication and follow-up visits: $100 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $60 Thanks for reading all this. - Samuel
