Emergency vet bill for Nala in San Jose
A senior cat named Nala needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,100 bill the family can't cover.

Nala is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 17 March we rushed to the San Jose Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,100.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the San Jose Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,250
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $480
• Medication and follow-up visits: $145
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $225
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
