Emergency vet bill for Nala in Louisville
Nala, Ezra's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $2,250.

Nala is my tabby kitten of nine years. On 20 August we rushed to Louisville Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,250.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $320 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Louisville Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Nala's recovery.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,250
• Medication and follow-up visits: $160
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $840

What exactly is the $2,250 for?
