Emergency vet bill for Nala in Boston
A senior cat named Nala needs orthopedic surgery - a $1,750 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇸 Boston, Massachusetts, United States193 views
Nala is my senior cat of nine years. On 25 January we rushed to Boston Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,750.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala got me through my hardest year. I have already put $125 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Boston Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,000
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $460
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $290
Every share and every dollar helps.
