Emergency vet bill for Mocha in Bangkok
Mocha, Boonmee's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $600.

Mocha is my three-legged dog of nine years. On 23 September we rushed to Bangkok Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $600.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Bangkok Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $360
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $120
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90
