Emergency vet bill for Milo in Shinjuku
Milo, Hina's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $2,050.
🇯🇵 Tokyo, Japan1,093 views
Milo is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 10 September we rushed to the Shinjuku Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,050.
They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Milo is more than a pet - Milo walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $135 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Shinjuku Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Milo's recovery.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,400
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $480
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
