Emergency vet bill for Milo in Medellín

A tabby kitten named Milo needs orthopedic surgery - a $750 bill the family can't cover.

Medellín
Milo is my tabby kitten of six years. On 22 November we rushed to Medellín Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $750. They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond February. Milo is more than a pet - Milo is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Medellín Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $750 goes: • Emergency surgery: $470 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $190 • Medication and follow-up visits: $40 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $50 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - María
