Emergency vet bill for Milo in Johannesburg
Milo, Precious's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $450.

Milo is my rabbit of two years. On 13 September we rushed to Johannesburg Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Milo is more than a pet - Milo is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Johannesburg Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Milo's recovery.

• Emergency surgery: $175
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $165
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $70
