Emergency vet bill for Max in Wollongong
Max, Aubree's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $2,100.

Max is my German shepherd of nine years. On 21 August we rushed to the Wollongong Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,100.
They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Max is more than a pet - Max is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $170 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Wollongong Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $500
• Emergency surgery: $1,300
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $300
I hope life is good to you.
