Max is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 6 September we rushed to Sylhet Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $250. They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Max is more than a pet - Max is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Sylhet Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
