Emergency vet bill for Maple in Swansea
A rabbit named Maple needs orthopedic surgery - a $2,200 bill the family cannot cover.

Maple is my rabbit of two years. On 7 March we rushed to Swansea Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,200.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple got me through my hardest year. I have already put $100 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Swansea Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Maple's recovery.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,650
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $260
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $210
