Maple is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 24 August we rushed to Oakland Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,250. They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Maple is more than a pet - Maple is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Oakland Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Maple's recovery. Where the $1,250 goes: • Hospitalization (2 nights): $370 • Emergency surgery: $580 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $300 With deep gratitude, Ethan
