Emergency vet bill for Maple in New Delhi
Maple, Nasrin's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $250.

Maple is my German shepherd of three years. On 12 August we rushed to New Delhi Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $20 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to New Delhi Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Maple's recovery.
Where the $250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $85
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $45
• Medication and follow-up visits: $55
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65
