Maple is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 27 August we rushed to Nashik Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $15 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Nashik Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $220
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $95
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
