Emergency vet bill for Mango in Wollongong
A dog named Mango needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $1,250 bill the family can't cover.

Mango is my dog of thirteen years. On 3 February we rushed to Wollongong Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,250.
They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Mango is more than a pet - Mango is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Wollongong Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Mango's recovery.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $260
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $740
• Medication and follow-up visits: $250
