Emergency vet bill for Mango in Milan
A German shepherd named Mango needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $600 bill the family can't cover.

Mango is my German shepherd of three years. On 8 August we rushed to Milan Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $600.
They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Mango is more than a pet - Mango walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $105 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Milan Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $600 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $120
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $320
• Medication and follow-up visits: $160
