Emergency vet bill for Mango in Chennai
Mango, Sandesh's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $450.

Mango is my rabbit of nine years. On 21 February we rushed to Chennai Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Mango, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Mango is more than a pet - Mango is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $60 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Chennai Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $260
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $120
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
