Emergency vet bill for Luna in Mombasa
Luna, Okello's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a tumor on the spleen costing $500.

Luna is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 15 March we rushed to Mombasa Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Luna is more than a pet - Luna got me through my hardest year. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Mombasa Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Luna's recovery.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $310
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $105
• Medication and follow-up visits: $20
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65
