Emergency vet bill for Luna in Kazan
Luna, Oleksandr's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $650.

Luna is my senior cat of two years. On 14 June we rushed to the Kazan Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $650.
They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Luna is more than a pet - Luna is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Kazan Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Luna's recovery.
Where the $650 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $370
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $135
• Medication and follow-up visits: $100
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45

Sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.

Sure. The biggest one is emergency surgery, $370. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
