Luna is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 16 May we rushed to the Jinja Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $150. They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond July. Luna is more than a pet - Luna is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Jinja Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Luna's recovery.
