Emergency vet bill for Juno in Mumbai

Please help Lavanya pay for Juno's emergency treatment at Mumbai Veterinary Centre.

Mumbai
Juno is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 7 February we rushed to Mumbai Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $250. They have stabilized Juno, but the treatment can't wait beyond May. Juno is more than a pet - Juno is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Mumbai Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $250 goes: • Emergency surgery: $110 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $85 With deep gratitude, Lavanya

Updates from Lavanya

  1. Update from Mumbai: I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts. We're at 85% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($167 in total) I made the first payment toward hospitalization. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Quick update: $28 raised so far (11%). I made the first payment toward diagnostics. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
