Emergency vet bill for Juno in Baton Rouge
A senior cat named Juno needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $1,600 bill the family cannot cover.

Juno is my senior cat of nine years. On 24 June we rushed to Baton Rouge Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,600.
They have stabilized Juno, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Juno is more than a pet - Juno got me through my hardest year. I have already put $390 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Baton Rouge Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $810
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $390
• Medication and follow-up visits: $240
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $160
