Emergency vet bill for Hazel in Nsukka
Hazel, Aisha's dog, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $350.

Hazel is my dog of six years. On 13 June we rushed to Nsukka Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Nsukka Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Hazel's recovery.
Where the $350 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $210
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $65
• Medication and follow-up visits: $20
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
