Emergency vet bill for Hazel in Dodoma
A rabbit named Hazel needs emergency surgery - a $300 bill the family can't cover.
🇹🇿 Tanzania420 views
Hazel is my rabbit of two years. On 22 July we rushed to Dodoma Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel got me through my hardest year. I have already put $20 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Dodoma Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Hazel's recovery.
Where the $300 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $20
• Emergency surgery: $270
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $10
With deep gratitude,
Kevin
