Emergency vet bill for Hazel in Dallas
Hazel, Hang's dog, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $2,800.

Hazel is my dog of three years. On 20 April we rushed to Dallas Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,800.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $190 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Dallas Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Hazel's recovery.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $2,100
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $110
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $590

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Hang.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. emergency surgery comes first ($2,100) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
