Emergency vet bill for Hazel in Buffalo
Hazel, Sadie's cat, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $3,150.

Hazel is my cat of three years. On 6 June we rushed to Buffalo Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $3,150.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $125 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Buffalo Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.

• Hospitalization (2 nights): $710
• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $230
