Emergency vet bill for Hazel in Anaheim

Hazel is my cat of two years. On 7 August we rushed to the Anaheim Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,000.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $340 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Anaheim Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Hazel's recovery.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,400
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $350
• Medication and follow-up visits: $250
