Emergency vet bill for Ginger in Salvador
A rescue greyhound named Ginger needs orthopedic surgery - a $400 bill the family can't cover.
🇧🇷 Brazil1,013 views
Ginger is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 6 April we rushed to Salvador Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger got me through my hardest year. I have already put $80 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Salvador Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery.
Where the $400 goes:
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $230
• Medication and follow-up visits: $60
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $110
If you're reading this, thank you.
