Emergency vet bill for Ginger in Nîmes
Ginger, Patrick's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $1,500.
🇫🇷 Nîmes, Occitanie, France354 views
Ginger is my rabbit of six years. On 31 March we rushed to Nîmes Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,500.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $320 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Nîmes Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $550
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $550
• Medication and follow-up visits: $125
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $275
With deep gratitude,
Patrick
