Emergency vet bill for Ginger in Newcastle upon Tyne
Ginger, Zoey's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $2,500.

Ginger is my rabbit of two years. On 3 September we rushed to Newcastle upon Tyne Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,500.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger got me through my hardest year. I have already put $140 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Newcastle upon Tyne Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,650
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $430
• Medication and follow-up visits: $250
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $170
