Ginger is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 5 September we rushed to Juazeiro do Norte Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $75 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Juazeiro do Norte Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $350 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $210
• Medication and follow-up visits: $75
