Emergency vet bill for Ginger in Belo Horizonte
A three-legged dog named Ginger needs emergency surgery - a $400 bill the family can't cover.

Ginger is my three-legged dog of two years. On 3 January we rushed to Belo Horizonte Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $75 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Belo Horizonte Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery.
Where the $400 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $105
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $250
