Emergency vet bill for Ginger in Anaheim
A rescue greyhound named Ginger needs emergency surgery - a $1,800 bill the family can't cover.

Ginger is my rescue greyhound of three years. On 4 March we rushed to Anaheim Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,800.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger got me through my hardest year. I have already put $190 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Anaheim Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,050
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $450
• Medication and follow-up visits: $300
