Daisy is my tabby kitten of thirteen years. On 2 April we rushed to Winston-Salem Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,250. They have stabilized Daisy, but the treatment can't wait beyond June. Daisy is more than a pet - Daisy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $165 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Winston-Salem Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,250 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,400 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $370 • Medication and follow-up visits: $160 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $320 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Alejandro

  • Sending love. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Munich.

    • Rooting for you. Shared this with my family. I'll check back for the next update. Take care.
