Emergency vet bill for Coco in Miami
A tabby kitten named Coco needs emergency surgery - a $2,950 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇸 United States2,010 views
Coco is my tabby kitten of eleven years. On 30 August we rushed to Miami Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,950.
They have stabilized Coco, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Coco is more than a pet - Coco got me through my hardest year. I have already put $370 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Miami Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,850
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $670
• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $170
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
