Buddy is my rabbit of eleven years. On 21 August we rushed to the Pretoria Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Pretoria Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $550 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $230
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $200
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
