Emergency vet bill for Bruno in Tarkwa
Bruno, Nathaniel's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for a tumor on the spleen costing $250.

Bruno is my senior cat of nine years. On 12 July we rushed to Tarkwa Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno got me through my hardest year. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Tarkwa Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $250 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $20
• Emergency surgery: $190
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $40

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nathaniel.
Sure. The biggest one is medication and follow-up visits, $20. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
