Emergency vet bill for Bruno in Riyadh
Bruno, Nasser's cat, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $1,600.

Bruno is my cat of thirteen years. On 22 March we rushed to the Riyadh Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,600.
They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $160 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Riyadh Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,400
• Medication and follow-up visits: $125
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $75

Hope the recovery goes smoothly. My husband and I read this together. Love from Porto Alegre.
Sending strength. Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Riyadh.
