Bruno is my dog of three years. On 30 August we rushed to Birmingham Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,750. They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $260 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Birmingham Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
