Emergency vet bill for Biscuit in Sacramento
Biscuit, Adalynn's cat, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $2,750.

Biscuit is my cat of nine years. On 16 April we rushed to Sacramento Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,750.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $300 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Sacramento Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,500
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $800
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $230
