Emergency vet bill for Biscuit in Kikuyu
A German shepherd named Biscuit needs emergency surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.
🇰🇪 Kenya1,183 views
Biscuit is my German shepherd of six years. On 11 July we rushed to Kikuyu Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Kikuyu Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $250 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
• Emergency surgery: $170
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
