Emergency vet bill for Biscuit in Bergamo

Biscuit is my dog of nine years. On 9 August we rushed to Bergamo Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,300.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $250 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Bergamo Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Biscuit's recovery.

• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $140
