Aurora
Biscuit is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 30 August we rushed to Aurora Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,300. They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $105 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Aurora Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,300 goes: • Emergency surgery: $950 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $740 • Medication and follow-up visits: $290 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $320 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Elijah

  • You're not alone, Elijah. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 7 people at work. Thinking of Aurora.

So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Kathmandu.

      • Best of luck, Elijah. Hope you get there. Thinking of Aurora.
