Nikhil was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in June. The surgeon at Nagpur Regional Medical Center recommended emergency hernia repair, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,150, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $850 short. my son has been in and out of Nagpur Regional Medical Center since June. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,150 is more than we can find. While we wait, Nikhil struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Nikhil won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing. The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did. Where the $850 goes: • Pre-operative tests and imaging: $55 • Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $650 • Physiotherapy sessions: $145 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
