Eliane's laparoscopic endometriosis surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in October is out of reach without help covering $2,050 of the cost.

Eliane was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in July. The surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,100, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,050 short.
my sister has been in and out of Saint Joseph Hospital since July. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,100 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Eliane struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Eliane won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $800
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $740
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $110
• Post-operative medication: $40
• Physiotherapy sessions: $230
• Travel and lodging for the family: $130
