Eliane's ACL reconstruction can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Eliane was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in December. The surgeon at Vitória da Conquista General Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,900, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,450 short.
my mother has been in and out of Vitória da Conquista General Hospital since December. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Eliane struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Eliane won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
