An adapted tricycle would give Elena independence - we're $2,350 away.

Elena lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the San Miguel de Tucumán Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,350.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Elena could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• adapted tricycle: $2,200
• First-year servicing plan: $95
• Delivery and set-up: $55
