Electricity shut-off notice: help Ximena pay $700
Help Ximena cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $700. I have never been late before July's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $95 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ximena.
Sure. The biggest one is water arrears, $450. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
