Electricity shut-off notice: help Walter pay $950
Walter is behind on electricity bills after a reduction in hours and needs $950 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless I pay $950. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $130 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
