The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless I pay $100. I have never been late before March's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $100 goes: • Electricity arrears: $65 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $15 Thank you so much. - Sunil
